Next step is where are we open today according to the previos day. Is it in the value or out of value , is it in the range or out of the range , gap up or down , so this things give me a map of the day.

I'm an order flow trader but the ES is too fast for my liking. I trade the US treasury note futures. Its a slower moving market although at times it can run on you if you are not careful.

Do you trade off the DOM? I find I can read the book pretty well in the ZN but the ES jumps around so quick its hard to locate the big buyer/seller at any given time.

I've been following the market profile on the ES. I do daily profiles and also composites from larger balance areas along with support/resistance areas.

I try to time my entries (when they are in a sup/res zone) using market internals such as $ADD, $TICK.

Anyone else trade this way?

No i dont use Dom only Footprint. I primary trade CL its much easier to read as ES as you said it jumps around and Volumen is to big to spot i am 100% ES is nothing for beginner or for small trader like 5 lot ect...

hmm, using mkt delta for footprints, its the best one arnd. but to use it one needs experience and understanding of market structure. By the way as far as I know footprint charts are based on bid/ask for the last transaction. Orderflow is little different than we think. For the time being can anyone tell how to go for stop hunting or frontrunning the books, with footprint charts only?
Ordeflow is a little advanced topic and needs access to the specialists order book sort of, else it becomes a pseudo volume analysis only.
Pardon my ignorance if I am wrong.
regards.
